I couldn’t narrow down this preview from a wedding I shot in Mexico. There were just too many good times to share. You may remember Jared and I went to Mexico and captured Jeff and Ellen’s wedding. Whitt came along and it was such a good time for so many reasons. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate a ton and we got rained on. I mean monsoon-ed on. But Jeff and Ellen didn’t let it get them down. We still had such a gorgeous day.

The day started with a little pool time in between showers. I wish all my weddings could begin with some pool time.

The amount of cute kids at this wedding…. tons.

The guys hung out in the lobby, chilled and got some drinks before the ceremony.

Whitt and I RAN to get a gorgeous image of the dress before another sideways downpour came on. I mean…. sideways. Unreal.

Because it was raining, we were trying to be creative on how to get people to Ellen’s room without getting rained on. And the ceremony was up in the air on which location at the resort it would be held, due to rain. Ellen had every phone ringing at the same time. Luckily her dad came over and the fun times began.

Jeff’s room was the one having the real fun. I had bought a lot of different props for the photobooth (you’ll see those later) and Jake loved putting the hats on. I think Jeff enjoyed it just as much.

Back in the girls room… these darlings were just… well, being cute.

This is one of my favorite images. Despite the rain outside, everyone still had smiles on their faces.

And, all the guys had to get in on the prop fun.

Jake had a sweet moment with both Jeff and his mom before it was time to walk down the aisle. And he had the cutest first look with his mom. I loved his huge smile and giddy grin he had on his face.

And then, that moment. The moment Jeff saw Ellen. I know it sounds cliche, but I always love looking at the groom as the bride walks down the aisle. It’s so sweet. And this was such a sweet tender moment with only their closest friends and families attending.

And they are married!!!!

OH Jake. He’s a keeper. We had a mini photoshoot while Jeff and Ellen were taking a break and enjoying their first few moments as husband and wife.

These pictures of Jake and his mom absolutely melt my heart. I love the way he looks at her.

And now, they are a cute little family!

And we got a few minutes on the beach with no rain! Or a little rain. 🙂

Jake gave THE sweetest speech.

Of course they each ended up with cake all over. I never doubted anything different. 🙂 They shared their cake with Ellen’s sweet niece and everyone sang happy birthday. It was so nice!

And let the fun begin.

Ellen and her dad were so cute. I think there were even a few tears in the audience. I won’t name names. 🙂

Ellen and Jake had some pretty amazing dance moves.

And I think everyone enjoyed the photo booth.

All in all it was a GORGEOUS night. Congrats Jeff and Ellen!!! <3
